WIT 101 for all populations

This three day workshop focuses on the sentence strategies that form the heart of the Writing is Thinking approach and adds to the WIT basket the use of oral language, home language and additional scaffolds to support student vocabulary and thinking that enable multilingual students to communicate effectively in writing across content areas.  This workshop addresses support for students at all levels of language proficiency, including SIFE, and is relevant for educators of all K-12 grades, content areas and student populations, including general education students and SPED.

This is an intensive, hands-on, in-person workshop for WIT beginners or those with prior experience.
