Expansion mini-workshop – Summer 2023

Students across the grade levels and content areas often struggle to express relationships between and among ideas within academic content. In addition, they often struggle to comprehend academic meaning in complex academic texts that they read. The EXPANSION strategy is an exceptionally powerful tool for supporting students in these areas. This short workshop provides a deep dive into expansion. It is a hands-on workshop for WIT beginners or those with prior experience for teachers of grades 3-12 across content areas.
